Here are two examples:

BAROLO DAY: A high-altitude trail with some slightly more challenging climbs that offers magnificent views of the renowned vineyards of the Barolo area! Embark on a walk through the history of Piedmontese oenology on a route of about 14 km with only about 350 meters of altitude to climb. Alternative a bike tour of about 45 km in length.

The tour starts in the village of Barolo and goes through the great vineyards that make this extraordinary wine unique and appreciated all over the world. From Barolo to Monforte d’Alba with its splendid Belvedere and its cafes in the central square, here you can enjoy the hustle and bustle and fortify yourself with a salad and of course the obligatory espresso at the end! If you prefer to bring a packed lunch you can enjoy your break in the millenary silence of the parish church of S. Stefano in Perno. The choice is yours!

BARBARESCO DAY: Impressive route to discover the Barbaresco area, in the shadow of the great medieval tower that dominates the village of Barbaresco! A tour of about 15 km and about 400 meters of altitude, overlooking the spectacular horizons of the Langa along the Tanaro River. Don’t forget to take a short walk through the village and visit the deconsecrated chapel that houses the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca.
The route starts in Barbaresco and goes back to S. Sebastiano, where you can admire the spectacular ridge with its solitary oak tree. On the way back you will pass the small chapel of S. Teobaldo, an ideal place for a relaxing picnic, maybe you have a good bottle of wine in your backpack? Cheers!
Alternatively, you can book a bike tour of about 40 km in the Barbaresco area.
