Description

Grappa distilleries are literally dying to introduce us to their home distilled specialities and share stories around the history of pomace distillation You are invited to learn the secrets of distillation at a small family run grappa distillery followed by a tasting.

Afterwards, you’ll head to a family-run winery for a light lunch. With your meal, you will of course taste the delicious Piedmont wines, including the little-known Pelaverga, a spicy and fruity red summer wine that can also be enjoyed a little cooler.

Grappa is the Italian grape marc spirit whose distillation process was brought to Italy by scholars from the Crusades. In Persia, distillation was used to make medicine.
